Hazrath Wajihuddin Gujrati RA

Hazrat Saiyed Shah Wajihuddin Alviul Hussaini (Rahmatuallah alay) (Gujarati) his family link is Imama Saiyadna Moahmmad Takiul Jawal (R.A.). He is from the generation of Hazrat Imam ALi (R.A.)

He was born on 22nd Muharram Hijri 910 (1504 AD) at Mehbudabad Champaner.

He died on 29th Muharram on 998 Hijri (1592 AD). During his life of 88 years he taught more than 80,000 students. He had more than 1400 Khalifa who spread the knowledge of Islam. He was during the period of Mohammad Begda.

His name was "Saiyead Ahmad" and Pet name "Wajihuddin". His Spiritual name was "Aliyesani". He learned Hanfi and Sattari. He avoided breast feeding til his mother performed vajuh.

He was scholar of Hadis,Fikhah and other matters. His writing spreed all our Egypt,Siriya and many Arab Countries. He was left great impression on social political life of Gujarat. The most of great sultans remained present as ordinary slaves. He was a great religious and spiritual personality. His blessing is eternal. He deserves our respecct as much as possible.

His Family is spread all over Indai. As Vijapur(Karnatak), Burahanpur(M.P.), Fulwahi sarif (U.P.) and different parts of Gujarat as Dholka Sharif, Patdi, Bajana, Viramgam, Surat, Petlad, Mehlej and many other cities.

It means 27th generation link to Hazrat Imam Hussain. It is their plus point that he and his predecessors were in judicary. His whole of the family was great learned and men of wisdom.

Freindship of Kings with Sadats :

He become famous with the petname Alvi as he was fatmi. One of the kings felt that he should not appoint sadats because an ordinary man is also proud of him we can not dishour them during this period wajihul millat was in charge of judiciary. Other memebers were holding big posts once the king asked the kazi if he was saiyed. He answered that he was Alvi. He thought Alvi would be different clan. Accordingly no other than incestors of Fatimabibi is Alvi. Accoring to Jameurrumuz nihaya abulkasim, Muzmirat, Muhit, Jameulu Fatava, Rih Imam Razi, Giyasiyah Sarhehidayah tell him as Alvi.

Al-Ajmiyul alimo kafule alviyatil jahele val alimul fakiho vakful jahelulgani-vakvalohul alviyo almurado behim zurriyatun Ali Radiallahu anhu min gair fatematuz-zohra(Radiallaho tala anha) vainkana avladuhu radiallahu anhu mamin fatemata mutmayyezana bil avaladisshafiyatan.

Meaning : Alvi are incestors of Hazrat Ali and Fatima. They are best from all saiyads.

Fohkae Kiram tells that who are from the family of Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Hussain are Alvis. Mohammad bin Hanfiya says that i'm learned by Alvis are greater than I. Abu Hanifa has tod that he was Alim but Alvis are greater than he. The others are not great from the time of Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.)

Along with Islamic Education he contined preparing and publishing books. He has left no dimentsion untached his followers have also maintained that.
